TUSCAN FARM HOUSE. This custom home design was for a client that fantasized about life in a Tuscan hillside farm. The location was the "big island" of Hawaii. The design captured the essence of a simple tower and courtyard. Laid out for a very open living style, the cooking and dining areas flowed together both inside and outside. The feature fireplace was for cooking as well as cozy ambiance. The courtyard garage doors were designed to look like stable doors. The tower provided a skyline for the living/entertainment area. The overall feeling was one of warmth and charm.
