CUSTOM FURNITURE. These pieces are designed in the Biedermier style, circa 1830 in Vienna. The first piece is a semainier or a seven-drawer chest for ladies accessories. THe second piece is a hall table after the fashion of a piece in the summer home of Queen Emma. The top is made to hinge half-up/half-down to make it easy to walk past. It can be moved away from the wall and the leaves brought to level. It is then stabilized from below so it can be used to present bowls of food. The top is ash burl. The base is in Hawaiian koa. | ||||||||||||||||||||
