THE CAPTAINS TABLE. The theme of this restaurant is the "boat days" when the Matson liners docked at Aloha Tower. Boys would dive for coins tossed in the ocean, leis were in perfusion, and a festive mood prevailed. This is displayed in sepia tone archival photos framed on the walls. The ceiling effect is taken directly from the ship "Falls of Clyde" permanently mored alongside the piers of the Aloha Tower. the brass lantern fixtures and captain's compass add to the ambiance. We even provided sound system background which included gulls and breaking waves along a wharf. The interiors provided an immersion in memorabilia of Hawaii's romantic past.

BLACK BEARD'S LAHAINA. Full of whimsy and fantasy of bygone pirate lore, Black Beard's is sure to make you smile. Leaded glass windows featuring mermaids and bullion, row boat booths, and a fishing scow that caters crab and shrimp are just a few of the nautical elements. Pictures and paraphernalia of ship lore abound. This restaurant is a good example of the fun of a dining experience as theater.
